Title: Roads Less Travelled
Prompt: Road
Source: 100 Words Prompt #346 – Velvet Verbosity

Airport departures were always the hardest for me to get over, moreso when it’s someone you grew up with, wrestled with, pulled his hair, fought over a teddy bear for… you understand the idea. Trailblazers. Roads less travelled. All of them evoked an image of an adventurer, hacking through the wilderness with a machete – figuratively, literally – to forge a new path for others to follow, or to pave an smoother path of stones and cobbles instead of mud, sand and water.
